• Storage Conditions: May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, add sterile glycerol (40-50%), aliquot and store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. • Specificity: Recognizes human Integrin beta 5. Specificity determined by immunoprecipitation from detergent extract of 35S methionine labeled cells. No crossreactivity to beta 1 or beta 3. Recognizes an epitope on the cytoplasmic domain of the protein, and it is thus intracellular. Species crossreactivity: Mouse, hamster and rat.
