Anti - Adenosine A3 Receptor (A3R)

  • NCBI Gene ID:

    140
  • Reactivity:

    Human
  • Storage Conditions:

May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. For long-term storage, store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for at least 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
  • Specificity:

The human A3R peptide shows only 46% homology (7/15 AA) with rat and 20% (3/15 AA) with sheep A3R sequences. We recommend the use of A3R31 that is made to the rat A3R sequence for the detection of rat A3R. Antibody crossreactivity in various species is not established. Control peptides, because of their low MW (<3kD), are not suitable for Western. It should be used for ELISA or antibody blocking to confirm antibody specificity
