• Storage Conditions:

  May be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

• Specificity:

  Recognizes Taurine. Calibrated against a spectrum of antigens to assure hapten selectivity and proper affinity. No measurable glutaraldehyde-fixed tissue crossreactivity (< 1:1000) against L-alanine, gamma-aminobutyrate, 1-amino-4-guanidobutane (AGB), D/L-arganine, D/L-aspartate, L-citrulline, L-cysteine, D/L-glutamate, D/L-glutamine, glutathione, glycine, L-lysine, L-ornithine, L-serine, L-threonine, L-tryptophan, L-tyrosine.
