Description
ROS 234 is a potent and selective H3 receptor antagonist, exhibiting high binding affinity in both guinea pig ileum (pK B 9.46) and rat cerebral cortex (pK i 8.90) assays. It demonstrates in vivo activity with an ED50 of 19.12 mg/kg (ip) in rat cortex, though it has limited central nervous system penetration. This profile makes it a valuable research tool for studying histamine H3 receptor function in peripheral and central nervous system pharmacology.
