Hantavirus (Puumala)

• Storage Conditions:

  May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

• Specificity:

  Recognizes Puumala virus-infected cells. Recognizes an epitope present on the N-terminus (between aa15-35) of the nucleocapsid protein (S segment) of hantavirus CG 18-20 strain (Puumala serotype). Also crossreacts with SNV (Sin Nombre virus) rN protein. Species Crossreactivity: human.
