Adeno-Associated Virus 2 Replicase (AAV2 Replicase)

• Storage Conditions:

  Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Reconstitute to nominal volume by adding sterile 40-50% glycerol and store at -20 °C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

• Specificity:

  Antigen recognized AAV-2, found in human in species (tested so far) in different concentrations during infection. Reacts with Rep proteins (Rep78 and Rep52) of human AAV-2-infected cells, does not react with Rep68 and Rep40. Four Rep proteins (Rep78, Rep68, Rep52 and Rep40) are expressed.
