2-Nitrobenzoic acid is an antiproliferative agent that inhibits Jurkat cells expressing T-type calcium channel α1H (CACNA1H) or its Δ25 splice variant with an IC50 of 8.3 μM. This small molecule is used in biochemical research to study calcium channel function in cellular proliferation, primarily in in vitro assays.
