Description
1-Hydroxy-2,3,5-trimethoxyxanthone (HM-1) is a multi-target small molecule exhibiting vasodilation via NO-dependent and Ca2+ channel-blocking mechanisms. It inhibits osteoclast differentiation in co-culture models and shows protective effects in murine LPS-induced acute lung injury by modulating IκB-α, iNOS, and COX-II expression. This compound is a useful research tool for cardiovascular, bone metabolism, and inflammation studies.
