Description
1-Monopalmitin (Glyceryl palmitate) is a bioactive compound isolated from algae such as Mougeotia nummuloides and Spirulina major. It exhibits antitumor properties by inhibiting the proliferation of A549 and SPC-A1 lung cancer cells in vitro, inducing G2/M cell cycle arrest and caspase-dependent apoptosis.
