Description
Chlorophorin is a potent anti-protozoal agent (MIC 0.25 μg/ml) and a strong inhibitor of mushroom tyrosinase (IC50 ~2.5 μM) . It also reduces α-MSH-induced melanogenesis in B16F10 cells, making it a useful research tool for studying infectious diseases and pigment regulation.
