  Possible interfering peptides were added to a low and to a high ACTH level plasma EDTA. The apparent ACTH response was measured. This demonstrates that the ACTH-IRMA does not cross react with ACTH fragments, alphaMSH, betaMSH and betaEndorphin but cross react with Rat ACTH at 39%.
