Description
IHR-1 is a potent and selective Smoothened (Smo) antagonist with an IC50 of 7.6 nM, specifically inhibiting the Hedgehog signaling pathway. It blocks Smo accumulation in the primary cilium in vitro and is used in research studying developmental biology and cancer, including in vivo models of medulloblastoma and basal cell carcinoma.
