MV1 is a small molecule antagonist of IAP proteins that, when coupled with a HaloTag ligand, enables targeted degradation of HaloTag-fusion proteins. This PROTAC-like system is a valuable tool for studying protein function through targeted protein knockdown in both cellular and in vivo research models.
