Description
LDN-212320 (OSU-0212320) is a small molecule activator of the glutamate transporter EAAT2. It potently upregulates EAAT2 protein expression, increasing levels more than sixfold at concentrations below 5 μM within 24 hours. This compound is a valuable research tool for studying EAAT2 function in models of excitotoxicity, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and other neurological disorders, in both cellular and animal studies.
