TCS PrP Inhibitor 13 is a small molecule compound, 5- (4-nitrophenyl) -2-phenyl-4H-pyrazol-3-one, that acts as an antiprion agent by suppressing the accumulation of protease-resistant prion protein (PrP-res) . It is utilized in prion disease research for both in vitro and in vivo studies to investigate therapeutic strategies against transmissible spongiform encephalopathies.
