Description
1-Dodecylimidazole is a lysosomotropic detergent and cytotoxic agent that induces cell death via lysosomal membrane permeabilization. It also demonstrates hypocholesterolemic and broad-spectrum antifungal properties. This small molecule is used in research areas including cell death mechanisms, lysosome biology, and antifungal studies in both in vitro and in vivo models.
