Description
G-418 disulfate (Geneticin sulfate) is a eukaryotic-selective aminoglycoside antibiotic that inhibits protein synthesis by disrupting peptide chain elongation. It is widely used in molecular biology for in vitro and in vivo selection of genetically engineered eukaryotic cells, including mammalian and plant cells.
