MCC950 sodium is a highly potent and selective NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitor, with IC50 values of 7.5 nM and 8.1 nM in mouse and human macrophages, respectively. It shows no activity against AIM2, NLRC4, or NLRP1 inflammasomes.
