Stafia-1 is a selective small-molecule inhibitor of STAT5a with an IC50 of 22.2 μM, exhibiting high specificity over STAT5b and other STAT proteins. It is a valuable research tool for studying STAT5a-dependent signaling in leukemia and other cancers, applicable in both in vitro and in vivo experimental models.
