RABBIT ANTI ALDOSTERONE

• Storage Conditions:

  It is recommended to aliquot and store at -20°C on receipt.
  When thawed, aliquot the sample as needed.
  Keep aliquots at 2-8°C for short term use (up to 4 weeks) and store the remaining aliquots at -20°C.
  
  Avoid repeated freezing and thawing as this may denature the antibody. Storage in frost-free freezers is not recommended.

• Specificity:

  Rabbit anti Aldosterone antibody recoognizes aldosterone, a hormone produced by the adrenal glands that helps regulate blood pressure through increasing both the release of potassium and the uptake of water and sodium by the kidneys.
  Rabbit anti Aldosterone antibody shows <1% cross-reactivity with Androstenedione, Corticosterone, DHEA or Desoxycorticosterone, as determined using a competitive ELISA with 400ng of aldosterone-3-BSA per well. Rabbit anti Aldosterone antibody has been cross-absorbed with BSA
