  This antibody recognizes human cyclin E2, a protein (approx. 42 kD) that is elevated in cells that express a papilloma viral oncogene. It interacts with cdk inhibitors of the CIP/KIP family and activates cdk2 and cdk3. Cyclin E2 and cyclin E1 are highly homologous.
