Human PD-L2/B7-DC ELISA Kit PicoKine®, Carrier-free
- Background: Programmed cell death 1 ligand 2 (also known as PD-L2, B7-DC) is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PDCD1LG2 gene. It is mapped to chromosome 9p24.2. PD-L2 is one of two ligands for programmed death-1 (PD-1), a member of the CD28 family of immuno-receptors. Northern blot analysis detect wide expression of PDL2, with highest levels in placenta, heart, pancreas, lung, and liver, and lower levels in spleen, lymph nodes, and thymus. PDL2 negatively regulates T cells and plays an essential role in immune tolerance.
- Description: Human PD-L2/B7-DC ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests). Quantitate Human PDCD1LG2 in cell culture supernatants, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Sensitivity: 12pg/ml. The brand Picokine indicates this is a premium quality ELISA kit. Each Picokine kit delivers precise quantification, high sensitivity, and excellent reproducibility. Only our most reliable and effective kits qualify as Picokine, guaranteeing top-tier results for your assays.

- Gene Name: programmed cell death 1 ligand 2
- Gene ID: 80380
- UniProt: Q9BQ51
- Reactivity: Human
- Cross Reactivity: There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins.
- Immunogen: Expression system for standard: NS0; Immunogen sequence: L20-T220
- Tissue Specificity: Highly expressed in heart, placenta, pancreas, lung and liver and weakly expressed in spleen, lymph nodes and thymus.
- Applications: ELISA
- Standard: 10 ng/tube
- Sample Type: cell culture supernatants, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA).
- Detection Range: 62.5 pg/ml - 4,000 pg/ml
- Sensitivity: <12 pg/ml
- Function: Involved in the costimulatory signal, essential for T- cell proliferation and IFNG production in a PDCD1-independent manner. Interaction with PDCD1 inhibits T-cell proliferation by blocking cell cycle progression and cytokine production (By similarity). .
