Mouse TFPI ELISA Kit PicoKine®, Carrier-free
- Background: TFPI (Tissue factor pathway inhibitor),also known as EPI, LACI or TFPI1, is a single-chain polypeptide which can reversibly inhibit Factor Xa (Xa) and Thrombin (Factor IIa). The gene for TFPI is located on chromosome 2q31-q32.1, and has nine exons which span 70 kb. TFPI consists of a highly negatively-charged amino-terminus, three tandemly-linked Kunitz domains, and a highly positively-charged carboxy-terminus. TFPI contributes significantly to the inhibition of Xa in vivo, despite being present at concentrations of only 2.5 nM.
- Description: Mouse TFPI ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests). Quantitate Mouse Tfpi in cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Sensitivity: 10pg/ml. The brand Picokine indicates this is a premium quality ELISA kit. Each Picokine kit delivers precise quantification, high sensitivity, and excellent reproducibility. Only our most reliable and effective kits qualify as Picokine, guaranteeing top-tier results for your assays.

- Reactivity: Mouse
- Cross Reactivity: There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins.
- Immunogen: Expression system for standard: NS0; Immunogen sequence: L29-N306
- Tissue Specificity: Isoform alpha is expressed in heart and spleen; isoform beta in heart and lung.
- Applications: ELISA
- Standard: 10 ng/tube
- Sample Type: cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA).
- Detection Range: 156 pg/ml - 10,000 pg/ml
- Sensitivity: <10 pg/ml
- Function: Inhibits factor X (X (a)) ly and, in a Xa-dependent way, inhibits VIIa/tissue factor activity, presumably by forming a quaternary Xa/LACI/VIIa/TF complex. It possesses an antithrombotic action and also the ability to associate with lipoproteins in plasma (By similarity). .
