Anti-ND4/Mtnd4 Antibody Picoband®, iFluor647 Conjugate
Background:
NADH-ubiquinone oxidoreductase chain 4 is a protein that in humans is encoded by the mitochondrial gene MT-ND4. The ND4 protein is a subunit of NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone), which is located in the mitochondrial inner membrane and is the largest of the five complexes of the electron transport chain. Variations in the MT-ND4 gene are associated with age-related macular degeneration (AMD), Leber's hereditary optic neuropathy (LHON), mesial temporal lobe epilepsy (MTLE) and cystic fibrosis.Description:
Boster Bio Anti-ND4/Mtnd4 Antibody catalog # A04180-2. Tested in WB applications. This antibody reacts with Rat. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.Synonyms:

No cross-reactivity with other proteins.Immunogen:
A synthetic peptide corresponding to a sequence at the N-terminus of rat ND4/Mtnd4, which shares 82.3% amino acid (aa) sequence identity with mouse ND4/Mtnd4.Clonality:
PolyclonalTissue Specificity:
Expressed in lung, on the vascular capillary network within alveolar walls, and also at lower level in kidney.Applications:
WBPurification:
Immunogen affinity purified.Concentration:
Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.Form:
LyophilizedReconstitution:
Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.Function:
Core subunit of the mitochondrial membrane respiratory chain NADH dehydrogenase (Complex I) that is believed to belong to the minimal assembly required for catalysis. Complex I functions in the transfer of electrons from NADH to the respiratory chain. The immediate electron acceptor for the enzyme is believed to be ubiquinone.Components:
Each vial contains 4mg Trehalose, 0.9mg NaCl, 0.2mg Na2HPO4, 0.05mg NaN3.References & Citations:
