Anti-ICOS Antibody Picoband®
Background:
Inducible T-cell costimulator is an immune checkpoint protein that in humans is encoded by the ICOS gene. The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the CD28 and CTLA-4 cell-surface receptor family. It forms homodimers and plays an important role in cell-cell signaling, immune responses, and regulation of cell proliferation.Description:
Boster Bio Anti-ICOS Antibody Picoband® catalog # A00291-2. Tested in ELISA, IHC, WB applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.Synonyms:

Expressed on activated T-cells and resting memory T-cells. High expression seen in the thymic medulla and in the germinal centers and T-cell zones of lymph nodes and Peyer patches. Expressed at low levels in the spleen.Applications:
ELISA, IHC, WBField of Research:
Adaptive Immunity, Immunology, T CellsConcentration:
Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.Form:
LyophilizedReconstitution:
Add 0.2ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500ug/ml.Function:
Enhances all basic T-cell responses to a foreign antigen, namely proliferation, secretion of lymphokines, up- regulation of molecules that mediate cell-cell interaction, and effective help for antibody secretion by B-cells. Essential both for efficient interaction between T and B-cells and for normal antibody responses to T-cell dependent antigens. Does not up- regulate the production of interleukin-2, but superinduces the synthesis of interleukin-10. Prevents the apoptosis of pre- activated T-cells. Plays a critical role in CD40-mediated class switching of immunoglobin isotypes (By similarity) .Storage Conditions:
Store at -20°C for one year from date of receipt. After reconstitution, at 4°C for one month. It can also be aliquotted and stored frozen at -20°C for six months. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.Fragment:
