Basal Medium Eagle (BME)

• Description :

  Basal Medium Eagle (BME) is a basal medium used for the growth of HeLa cells, mouse fibroblasts, and other human lines, such as WI-38 and MRC-5. Supplementation is required, most commonly with 10% fetal bovine serum (FBS) for cell culture use, and requires a 5-10% CO₂ environment to maintain physiological pH.
