Anti-Coronin 7 CORO7 Antibody

  • Background:

Coronins, such as Coronin 7, constitute an evolutionarily conserved family of WD-repeat actin-binding proteins whose function is thought to be regulating the cytoskeleton. Unlike other cytoplasmically localized Coronins, Coronin 7 localizes in part to the Golgi complex and is thought to play a role in Golgi complex morphology and function. Other experiments indicate that Coronin 7 interacts with the anti-proliferative protein TOB1 and enhances its degradation though the SCF ubiquitin ligase (E3) complex.
  • Description:

Boster Bio Anti-Coronin 7 CORO7 Antibody (Catalog # A11552) . Tested in ELISA, WB, IHC-P, IF applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat.
  • Synonyms:

    CRN7, POD1, 0610011B16Rik, Coronin-7, 70 kDa WD repeat tumor rejection antigen homolog, Crn7

    Polyclonal
  • Tissue Specificity:

Widely expressed. Expressed in the spleen, peripheral leukocytes, testes, brain, thymus and small intestine.
  • Applications:

    ELISA, WB, IHC-P, IF
  • Field of Research:

    Homeostasis
  • Purification:

Coronin 7 Antibody is affinity chromatography purified via peptide column.
  • Concentration:

    1 mg/mL
  • Form:

    Liquid
  • Function:

F-actin regulator involved in anterograde Golgi to endosome transport: upon ubiquitination via 'Lys-33'-linked ubiquitin chains by the BCR (KLHL20) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex, interacts with EPS15 and localizes to the trans-Golgi network, where it promotes actin polymerization, thereby facilitating post- Golgi trafficking. May play a role in the maintenance of the Golgi apparatus morphology.
