Description
The PUMA BH3 peptide is a direct activator of Bak with high affinity (Kd 26 nM) . It mimics the function of the full-length PUMA protein, which is a key mediator of p53-dependent apoptosis through mitochondrial targeting, Bcl-2 binding, and cytochrome c release. This tool peptide is widely used in vitro to study intrinsic apoptosis pathways and Bcl-2 family protein interactions.
