Description
KYL peptide is a cell-permeable inhibitor of the EphA4 receptor (Kd = 0.8 μM) that blocks EphA4-ephrinA5 interactions. It demonstrates neuroprotective effects by preventing Aβ oligomer-induced synaptic toxicity and LTP blockade in hippocampal neurons, and it exhibits prolonged stability in cell culture media.
