Description
This cell-permeable small molecule is a selective inhibitor of PKMζ, an atypical protein kinase C isozyme critical for long-term memory. It reverses established LTP in hippocampal slices (IC50 ~1-2.5 μM) and erases consolidated spatial memory upon central administration in vivo, making it a key research tool for studying synaptic plasticity and memory persistence.
