Description
This peptide fragment (residues 1-40 of Nogo-66) acts as a competitive antagonist at the Nogo-66 receptor (NgR) . It blocks axonal growth inhibition induced by Nogo-66 and CNS myelin in vitro and promotes axonal regeneration and locomotor recovery in spinal cord injury models in vivo.
