Anti-MSK2/RSK-B/RPS6KA4 Antibody Picoband®, Biotine Conjugate
- Background: Ribosomal protein S6 kinase alpha-4 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the RPS6KA4 gene. This gene encodes a member of the RSK (ribosomal S6 kinase) family of serine/threonine kinases. This kinase contains 2 non-identical kinase catalytic domains and phosphorylates various substrates, including CREB1 and ATF1. The encoded protein can also phosphorylate histone H3 to regulate certain inflammatory genes. Several transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
- Description: Boster Bio Anti-MSK2/RSK-B/RPS6KA4 Antibody Picoband® catalog # A05545-2. Tested in ELISA, Flow Cytometry, IF, IHC, ICC, WB applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat. The brand Picoband indicates this is a premium antibody that guarantees superior quality, high affinity, and strong signals with minimal background in Western blot applications. Only our best-performing antibodies are designated as Picoband, ensuring unmatched performance.

- Immunogen: E.coli-derived human MSK2/RSK-B/RPS6KA4 recombinant protein (Position: Q302-S772).
- Clonality: Polyclonal
- Applications: ELISA,Flow Cytometry,IF,IHC,ICC,WB
- Purification: Immunogen affinity purified.
- Concentration: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
- Form: Lyophilized
- Reconstitution: Adding 0.2 ml of distilled water will yield a concentration of 500 μg/ml.
- Function: Flavoenzyme which catalyzes the oxidation of spermine to spermidine. Can also use N1-acetylspermine and spermidine as substrates, with different affinity depending on the isoform (isozyme) and on the experimental conditions. Plays an important role in the regulation of polyamine intracellular concentration and has the potential to act as a determinant of cellular sensitivity to the antitumor polyamine analogs. May contribute to beta-alanine production via aldehyde dehydrogenase conversion of 3-amino-propanal.
