Glatiramer acetate is a synthetic polypeptide used to treat relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (RRMS) and clinically isolated syndrome (CIS) . It is widely employed in both in vivo and in vitro research to study immunomodulation, neuroprotection, and mechanisms of action in autoimmune demyelinating diseases.
