PACAP 1-38 acetate is a synthetic analog of pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide. It exhibits high-affinity binding to the PAC1 receptor (IC50 = 4 nM) and VPAC2 receptor (IC50 = 1 nM), but not to VPAC1.
