Description:
Benazepril (CGS14824A free base) is an orally active angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor to reduce angiotensin-II production. Benazepril inhibits oxidative stress and inhibits apoptosis by the PI3K/Akt signaling pathway. Benazepril improves diabetic nephropathy and decreases proteinuria.
