Mouse monoclonal antibody to C-Rel is localized to the nucleus. It has a pivotal role in inflammatory and immune responses, in differentiation and lymphopoiesis. C-Rel has been shown to represent a constituent of the kappaB site binding transcription factor NFkappaB, which has a vital function in the expression of immunoglobulin kappa light chain gene.
