TNF-related activation-induced cytokines (TRANCE), also called RANK Ligand (RANKL, receptor activator of NF-kB ligand), osteoprotegerin ligand (OPGL), and osteoclast differentiation factor (ODF), is a member of the TNF superfamily. Mouse and human TRANCE share 85% amino acid sequence identity. TRANCE is primarily expressed in T cells and T cell rich organs, such as thymus and lymph nodes.Synonyms:
