  Steady-ATP™ HTS Viability Assay Kit is a highly sensitive assay for determining the number of viable cells based on ATP quantitation. The homogeneous assay procedure involves a single addition of Steady-ATP™ Cocktail directly to cells cultured in a serum-supplemented medium. The enhanced Chemostable Luciferase featured in this assay increases the half-life of luminescent signal by greater than five hours and provides signal linearity over 3 orders of magnitude in cells or in the presence of ATP under assay conditions optimized to protect ATP from degradation after cell lysis.
