ADAM10 Protein

  • Target:

ADAM10 is a member of the ADAM family of membrane-anchored cell surface proteins, which contain both a disintegrin and a metalloprotease domain. ADAM10 is expressed in a wide variety of tissues and resides on both the cell surface and within the cytoplasm. ADAM10 has been implicated in proteolytic release of a number of cell surface proteins in particular TNF alpha. Aviva recombinant ADAM 10 comprises a 459 amino acid fragment (214-672) corresponding to the ADAM 10 extracellular domain minus the signal peptide and pro-sequence and is expressed in E. coli with an amino-terminal hexahistidine tag. This product is not intended for therapeutic use.
