Caspase-6 antibody was raised against a 15 amino acid synthetic peptide from near the amino-terminus of human Caspase-6. The immunogen is located within the first 50 amino acids of Caspase-6.
Target
Involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. Cleaves poly (ADP-ribose) polymerase in vitro, as well as lamins. Overexpression promotes programmed cell death.
