Specificity
Reacts with glycoprotein Ib on megakaryocytes and platelets. Inhibits the ristocetin-dependent binding of Von Willebrand factor to platelets and ristocetin induced platelet agglutination. Inhibits platelet aggregation induced by Type I collagen and platelet activating factor (PAF) . Immunoprecipitates the components of glycoprotein Ib complex.
