Target
Connexin32 (CX32), also known as GAP junction protein beta-1 (GJB1) . Connexins are membrane-spanning proteins that assemble to form gap junction channels that facilitate the transfer of ions and small molecules between cells. CX32 expressed in liver and peripheral nerve. CX32 gene is mapped to Xp11-q13 and is directly regulated by the transcription factor SOX10.
