  Antibacterial agent 95 (2- (quinoline-4-methoxy) acetamide), a new antituberculotic agent, exhibited a minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of only 0.3 ?M against the reference strain of Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv. Additionally, it effectively suppressed the growth of Mycobacterium tuberculosis in the macrophage model of tuberculosis infection.
