Description
Amprenavir is the active metabolite of the pro-drug fosamprenavir. It acts as an antiretroviral HIV Protease Inhibitor. When used alone or in combination therapy with other antiretroviral agents, amprenavir decreases viral load and increases CD4+ cell counts.
