Description
Pentostatin is an irreversible inhibitor of adenosine deaminase (Ki = 2.5 pM). Pentostatin is effective in the treatment of many lymphoproliferative malignancies, particularly hairy-cell leukemia. It is also synergistic with some other antineoplastic agents and has immunosuppressive activity.
