Isolated from Penicillium sp. Displays cytotoxic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antiprotozoal properties. Acts as a TGF-β signaling pathway inhibitor as well as inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS; NOSII) inhibitor. Also, inhibits cell division and acts as an acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibitor.
