• Description:

  SC-79 is an Akt activator. Binds to the pleckstrin homology (PH) domain of Akt preventing membrane translocation but paradoxically activating it in the cytosol. Enhances Akt phosphorylation by upstream protein kinases. Suppresses excitotoxicity-induced neuronal death in vitro and in vivo.
