Valsartan

• Description:

  Cell-permeable. A high affinity angiotensin I receptor antagonist (Ki = 2.38 nM). Clinically useful antihypertensive agent. Active in vivo. Also, a recent study has shown that Valsartan lowers brain β-amyloid protein levels and improves spatial learning in a mouse model of Alzheimer’s disease.
