  Cell-permeable. A sulfonylhydrazone (Shz) small molecule that acts as an enhancer of myocardial regenerative repair by stem cells. Potently induces Nkx2.5 and a subset of other cardiac markers, including myocardin, troponin-I, and sarcomeric α-tropomyosin (SαTM) in a variety of different stem/progenitor cells.
