Interleukin 18 (IL-18) augments natural killer cell activity in spleen cells and stimulates interferon gamma production in T-helper type I cells. BioVision’s IL-18 ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of human IL-18 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of IL-18 captured from the samples.
